2025 Plans...
It has been a long time since I last updated this website, I am perhaps not the most technically minded, and like many musicians I'm sure, I would rather be playing out or being creative instead of behind a computer, but this New Year has pushed me to start as I mean to go on and update the website on what I have been up to and my plans for the year ahead.
This past few years has seen us play as a band all over the place, from main stage at Love Supreme Festival and headlining Jazz Festivals such as Rye, Herne Bay, and Sidmouth as well as playing many others.
As a session player I have taken part in some very exciting and satisfying sessions and gigs, such as Simply Red, JTQ, Lisa Stansfield, Pama International, Natalia Farran, NIgel Price, Jon Redfern, Rustin Man, Betty Black, Dele Sosimi, Leo Green, and many others.
I have also finally been able to watch the artist I have been producing BAIANA release her first album to critical acclaim and success and also, am continuing to enjoy my percussion teaching, passing on what I have learnt over all these many years in the industry to others is both rewarding and important I feel.
I am right in the middle of co-producing the solo album by the legendary Marc Evans alongside Andrew McGuinness.
The highlights of the last few years have to include playing at one of my favourite venues of all time Ronnie Scotts, again, totally sold out shows (Thank you as always! )
Among Festival and club shows to announce I am very excited to be a featured artist with The Brand New Heavies at The Royal Albert Hall March 12th 2025 and JTQ and Orchestra at The Barbican July 18th.
Other exciting projects are currently in the works for 2025 and all being well this year should see a new Latin Section album.
I am now about to host the enormous January Blues Festival for the entire month at the 229, probably the biggest Blues Festival in the world so please do check it out.
I wish you all a very Happy New Year and thank you once again, for all your support through the years.
Snowboy.
